Pacing time - 10km 70 mins "I did not start running until I was in my early 40s. I used running as a way to mentally unwind myself at the end of the day. I found this wonderful running group in 2005 and met many inspiring friends which made running even more enjoyable. Over the last 10 years I have run many half marathons and several marathons. Along with running, I decided to challenge myself and began doing triathlons in the last few years. But at the end of the day, running is still my passion. I managed to place 1st in my age group last year at the Weston Creek Half Marathon at 1:53. It's was not my Personal Best time for a half marathon, but I had a great time. That is really why I run.
The Canberra Times 10K has always been one of my favourite and most memorable events. It was the first race my husband and I ran when we moved to Canberra in 2005."
