YMCA will be providing the pacers in the 14km and 10km races to help runners achieve their goal at The Canberra Times Fun Run presented by Westpac. Set yourself a goal and jump on board a pace bus!
Pacers are experienced runners who will aim to maintain an even pace throughout the entire race. Choose a pace that will help you reach your own PB!
The pacers will be completing the race in the below pace times. On the day they will be identified with coloured balloons and pink pacer running bibs.

"I did not start running until I was in my early 40s. I used running as a way to mentally unwind myself at the end of the day. I found this wonderful running group in 2005 and met many inspiring friends which made running even more enjoyable. Over the last 10 years I have run many half marathons and several marathons. Along with running, I decided to challenge myself and began doing triathlons in the last few years. But at the end of the day, running is still my passion. I managed to place 1st in my age group last year at the Weston Creek Half Marathon at 1:53. It's was not my Personal Best time for a half marathon, but I had a great time. That is really why I run.
The Canberra Times 10K has always been one of my favourite and most memorable events. It was the first race my husband and I ran when we moved to Canberra in 2005."
